School Uniform
Our uniform can be purchased from Uniform Direct, here.
We introduced our new uniform in September 2024. It has been very well received with several older students opting to switch to it. It is gender-neutral, with a shirt and tie for all students, and the option of skirt or trousers available to all students,
School uniform provides a sense of community and encourages pride in being a member of our School.
At Bourne Grammar School, great importance is attached to a smart appearance and students are expected to wear correct school uniform at all times. Uniform is checked on a regular basis by Form Tutors and Heads of Year, and sanctions are imposed where uniform does not comply with expected standards.
Uniform Direct have a store in Lincoln and one in the Boundary Outlet complex in Grantham, so students can try items on and shop in person should they wish.
Second Hand uniform: While the School has no formal marketplace for selling second-hand items of school uniform, there are well-established groups on Facebook that have operated to offer this service for many years. Please note that such groups are informally arranged by parents, and are in no way affiliated or recommended by the School. New year 7s and current Y8s are required to wear the new uniform and may not opt for the old uniform.
