The 1636 Legacy Fund

The 1636 Legacy Fund

Bourne Grammar School has been shaped by generations who believed in its future.

In 1636, a formal re-endowment helped secure the School’s future and established a tradition of stewardship that continues to guide us today. The 1636 Legacy Fund continues that tradition, offering those who feel a lasting connection to the School an opportunity to support future generations of students.

For many members of the Bourne Grammar School community – parents, alumni, former staff and friends – leaving a gift in their will is a meaningful way to ensure that the opportunities enjoyed by students today continue to flourish in the years ahead.

Legacy gifts through The 1636 Legacy Fund may help to support long-term developments such as:

  • the enhancement of learning and performance spaces
  • the development of sports facilities and student provision
  • the growth of co-curricular opportunities in areas such as sport, music, drama and leadership
  • future projects that strengthen the life of the School for generations to come

A legacy gift, large or small, becomes part of the School’s long story – helping to ensure that Bourne Grammar School continues to provide a rich and inspiring education for those who follow.

Considering a Legacy Gift

There are a number of ways in which a gift may be left to Bourne Grammar School, including:
