    Abington Park, Northampton, was the venue for the Anglian cross-country championships last Saturday and with 21 students in attendance for the event, we had students in all eight different age groups and were arguably the school with the largest contingent of any Lincolnshire school.

  • Lincolnshire Schools Cross Country Championships, Burghley Park

    It was an absolute pleasure on Saturday to meet almost 60 Bourne Grammar students for the Lincolnshire Schools Cross-country Championships. Conditions were perfect for this significant event in the cross country calendar that would enable 14 students to automatically qualify and represent Lincolnshire Schools at the Anglian Championships on January 31 in Northampton.

  • EQP Research Success for BGS Year 13 Students

    I am thrilled to report that this year’s Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) cohort produced a truly outstanding set of results – all 17 students submitted research projects at grade B or above (the grade that is recognised by many universities as a reason for lowering entry requirements), with 13 students achieving the A* standard and three students attaining the hugely impressive accolade of full marks (50/50)
