Year 11 Intermediate Physics Challenge

We had 28 students in Year 11 volunteer to take part in this challenge which is designed to really push the most able physics students across the country.

It was pleasing to see a great turnout to the support sessions in the build up to the challenge; seeing our Year 11 students aiming to push themselves well beyond the boundaries of the national curriculum.

I do sincerely hope that many of these students enjoyed the challenge and decide to continue their study of physics beyond GCSE.

Congratulations to our Gold Award winner: Miguel Valdez. He ranked in the top 8% of all entrants to this competition nationally. An impressive achievement!

All the Year 11 students who took part should be very proud of themselves.
