Greenpower Team Reaches Milestone!
We are excited to congratulate our Greenpower engineering team (Ben Fletcher, Toby Scholes and Joshua Burton) for successfully completing the first stage in building their electric race car!
After weeks of teamwork, problem-solving, and hands-on learning, students have now finished assembling the core chassis, electrical and mechanical systems - an impressive achievement and a strong foundation for what comes next.
The team will now move into the design phase, where they will begin shaping the car’s aerodynamic body using creative modelling, research, and testing. Alongside this, students will start developing the electronic motor control and monitoring system, applying real-world engineering skills to ensure the vehicle is safe, efficient, and race-ready.
This project showcases our students’ dedication, curiosity, and technical talent. We are incredibly proud of their progress so far and look forward to seeing their innovation come to life as the build continues.
