Parents of Year 5 students are invited to Bourne Grammar School to find out more information about the 11+ testing process and applying for a Year 7 place for September 2019. Information evenings will be held in the Main Hall at Bourne Grammar School on the following dates:
Tuesday 27 February 2018 - this evening is for Parents whose Year 5 child currently attends Bourne Abbey, Bourne Elsea Park or Bourne Westfield Primary Schools.
Tuesday 6 March 2018 - this evening is for Parents with a Year 5 child attending any other Primary School.
Each evening will start at 7pm and the Headteacher will give a brief introduction to the School and a short presentation on the following:
- The format of the 11+ tests and the standardised scoring process
- The testing dates and where the tests take place
- Applying for a Year 7 place for September 2019
- The appeals process
Drinks will be served after the presentation and there will be an opportunity to collect an information pack, register your child for the test and ask any questions of the Headteacher and Admissions Staff.
There is plenty of parking available on the School site and you do not need to register your attendance in advance. The information evenings are designed for parents and carers only and children are not required to attend.
(Please note that separate information sessions will be held at the following primary schools: Baston, Copthill, Edenham, Langtoft, Linchfield, Malcolm Sargent, Market Deeping Community Primary, St George's Stamford, St Gilbert's Uffington and William Hildyard. The same information will be provided at these sessions so parents from the primary schools listed above do not need to attend the information evening on 6 March.)
